About BIG TALONS

Wildlife Outreach

As a people, we have become largely disconnected from the animal kingdom. We no longer teach our children to experience and embrace wildlife. Respect for animals has faded from our collective conscience. WIldlife populations have subsequently plummeted. Our goal at Big Talons is to reconnect children & adults with the animal kingdom through outreach, as we embrace and support conservation efforts worldwide. We love all animals, but our greatest love and focus is raptors.

Children often begin to understand the concept and importance of conservation efforts once they experience an animal’s beauty, personality, and unique characteristics. It’s only then they realize the need to advocate for, and conserve, these amazing creatures.

Conservation is a noble cause often impaired by red tape and stigmas. We work hard to overcome these obstacles through the use of social media, educational appearances, and private experiences with raptors.

Perhaps most important, we believe that animals have a therapeutic and soothing quality that is overwhelmingly beneficial to children marginalized by medical conditions and stigma-causing developmental issues. We seek to connect these communities of children with wildlife.

Conservation & Outreach

  • Social media: Big Talons uses a unique and entertaining social media approach to connect children and adults with wildlife.
  • Educational & private experiences: Big Talons provides wildlife appearances & educational curriculum at  schools & private events.
  • Big Talons has a heart
for children; especially those who are medically fragile or are affected by neurodivergent conditions who greatly benefit from interaction with animals. We will always volunteer our time to provide these children with a wildlife experience.
